Connect and traffic overlay issue

Post by scottie1979 » Mon Jan 18, 2016 9:38 am

the problem im having is that the traffic is all appearing on the wrong side to actual conditions as if it thinks we drive on the right hand side. The standard directional nav routes left hand as it should.
When compared to the traffic overlay on google maps on my phone it is the opposite as expected.
Perhaps there is an option somewhere in the settings but i cant find it.
Im not talking about the TMC - its the online traffic info overlay you get with connect.
Any ideas ? Standard UK car and UK SIM installed

I realise you might think what the hell is he going on about so to try and show what i mean i took a picture of the dash display and an image from google maps.
North is to the top right of the 1st picture. The traffic going north on the car system is green and south orange/red - where on google maps and on the road actual the traffic going north is red and south green.

there is an option to switch from google earth overlay to 'Traffic' in the settings - when i do this the read out is corrected.

While this isnt a major problem :boohoo: it is kind of annoying and i was hoping someone might have experienced the same and fixed it?

Had this issue on a RS4 which put Milton Keynes on the right of the M1 going north...... But mine did seem to correct itself, maybe a gps / signal issue unless it's all the time.Which means a trip to the dealers who will welcome you with open arms .
