Ok looking at that photo again I can see what you mean, but it is definitely blue.

You're welcome.

I've read about your 'spec locked' dilemma, so as soon as I saw it I thought I should try and take some pics to help you (and others*) out. :thumb:

Seriously considering one of these as I was thinking of speccing pretty much everything that the PE has over the "standard" RS6.

On older generations have the RS 6 Plus models held some of their premium ?

Thanks again for the photos but even more important to me was knowing they had one in that colour /trim just 10 mins away from me so I could see it in the flesh. Getting quite excited now! Not sure I'll be able to wait until 1st March seing as my car has already been built now.

I never intended on waiting but my sensible head says as it will be close I should wait but I don't pay much attention to that head when it comes to RSs.

I was told mine would be in Feb and had in my head if arrived in the first 2 weeks of feb or before I would have it asap otherwise wait for March. Its now should be in Jan so for sure getting my hands on it asap. Plus a private plate will go on so makes little difference to me getting it before or after march.

That's the blue carbon, allegedly. All PEs that have the alcantara seats have it, or so I was told. Doesn't exactly jump out as blue though, does it?

No the Blue carbon is an option. I went for normal carbon with Alcantara seats. Having seen the Blue carbon in the flesh now it was hard to tell if it was blue or normal carbon.

I thought it would have been an option, no way they'd force something on you for picking the seats. Like I said when I first saw it, it seems completely pointless when you can barely tell it's blue even if you're trying to see it. I wonder if the Nogaro Selection RS4s have a different version of blue carbon, or if they just stage the photos to make it as obvious as possible.

Nice

If you're going to Map a 6.....surely this car is just a gimmick?

Will it map to more than 700 odd bhp with this engine?

Wheels are dreadful....not very "RS" at all.

Went on to see it just now and, surprise surprise, it's a beast. Not a fan of the wheels in photos but in person, they're good.

Blue carbon ok, blue seat stiching cool but would have to be leather for me.

Love panther and I think the titanium optics work well.

Will be great Mike!

Thanks Paul. I agree, the wheels look better in the flesh, but I'm not sure who long they will last on the car; they are nice but not stunning.

Right...that does it!

That Panther PE looks absolutely stunning!
I've owned 2 x RS6 C7's in the last 18 months and I'm preparing for another change this summer.
I had seriously thought of going for a Bentley V8S this time but the more I think about it, the more I don't want to go back to driving without a HUD.
So another RS6 it is!....although I will definitely change from Daytona to Panther this time.

My only small niggle is that it seems incredulous to me for a nicely spec'd £100K car to have a plastic dashboard!
So I'm making an appointment at City tomorrow to spec up a new PE and hopefully the delivery won't be too stretched if I add a leather dash from the exclusive range.

Anybody experienced major delays with exclusive features?
