Oh mate, don't take me seriously. I was just being my usual self coming on with a curve ball - your post was said with much thought, hence i thought who else does that - and posted it in.superlightr wrote:Apologies my last post wasn't meant to hurt/be disrespectful.
I know from my own experience if something is not right then even though I can try to convince myself it is ok and to everyone else its is brilliant - but still to me its not how I imagined/aimed for - so I resign myself to accepting that if I can, I alter it. If I can not alter it then to relax and accept.

Thanks Sam, but other than the bit in the shade that doesn't look very different to the alu trim.

I think you might be right about it being the alu trim version MikeMikeFish wrote:Thanks Sam, but other than the bit in the shade that doesn't look very different to the alu trim.
Just found this RS7 PE video. If you skip to 1min 45sec in, they use a dark blue car which I think has the darker titanium trim. They do some rolling close up video shots where you can see it quite clearly. Looks smart

Re: Ordered an RS6 Performance
Another good find Sam, I never normally watch the rs6 vids but that does make the trim look good but it was shot quite dark. Maybe I just need to buy some sunglasses. I've seen the Red and in the Audi Videos and thought it looked good because of the way it was shot.

Re: Ordered an RS6 Performance
Mike if circumstances were a bit different and I had a larger garage then I would just get an A3 for a DD and RS6 for days off. My new car is being prepped at Stratford Audi and will be picking it up next week.MikeFish wrote:Order one at the weekend Eddie.Eddie555 wrote:I didn't think I'd like the seats in half leather half alcantara but in that video they look stunning. Re: Ordered an RS6 Performance
I retract what I said about wanting the blue carbon... it's almost completely indistinguishable to the naked eye. It's more like the edge of the carbon weave has a blue tint to it, only shows up as blue specs with a flash photo. Makes me a lot happier with not having had the option.

Mike - I was almost late for work this morning reading this thread!
Looks like an EPIC car! Looking forward to seeing pictures of it when it arrives.
Looks like most folk go through the same dilemmas on spec when ordering their cars!

Blimey 9 pages of drivel. I had a quick look back, I'd forgotten that was my orignal spec, seems ages ago but it was a little over a month ago.
Yeah there'll be lots of pictures, whether it's good or bad!
