Do you mean auto start/stop? Only if you press the button in the dash and it resets each time you drive. Not sure if you can code it out in VCDS

Yep. Just log in to the OBD and check / uncheck the box next to KNOB.
Should do the trick.

LOL Mark.

Yes it can be switched off using VCDS, or you can invert it so that it starts in the off position but you can activate if you want by pressing the button.

Thanks so that means if you don't want that your car always goes off when you stop you can disable it in a Audi menu center where all settings are? I mean in that monitor where are dynamic, auto modes is it right?

John, you are much more polite than me. And rightly so. Just think he/she is taking the mick, but I have had a bad day...

Huh? There's a button on the dashboard, no menus. Unless you're talking about the VCDS bit.

No no. The menu is in the boot next to the wine list.

I recommend the 2007 Malbec, just park up first.

That's on the special hidden wine list. You need many special buttons to access this.

Is that the list where you have to stick your finger into the rear cigar lighter and turn clockwise once and anti clockwise 3 times??
