Lol, blackjax seem to be the topic of the week.
The RS3 has a high vis vest under the rear seat. Does the RS6 not have the same?
European Sat Nav Map?
Re: European Sat Nav Map?
No, but there is a storage "drawer" under each front seat that would take a jacket easily. Good location for one.
Re: European Sat Nav Map?
Maybe I'll see if I can squeeze a 1st aid kit in there too as that's required in some countries. Its seems the RS3 has this sewn up as well; better equipped to drive across Europe that the big cruiser?
Re: European Sat Nav Map?
There is already a first aid kit as standard in the rear centre armrest. Like all car first aid kits, it seems to be filled with bandages appropriate for cleaning up after open heart surgery, rather than dealing with a cut finger. Heaven forbid I ever have to dress a wound arising from the kind of major incident they must have in mind when putting these kits together. I imagine the instructions say "wrap the stump in Bandage Type 23 to staunch the flow of blood. Use one or more buckets to collect any blood that still oozes out."

Thats the reason i carry a truma kit in my car (glove compartment) - 2x large millitary compression bandages with ties, 1x tourniquet 1x quickclot sponge 1x quick clot granules - did some medic training in the TA hence no plasters but something that my be more useful to help save my family/another if they are bleeding out after a car crash or help save me - touniquet is usable 1 handed

Nah, I would just use my belt held between my teeth, like Rambo did when he had to put stitches in his arm.superlightr wrote:...touniquet is usable 1 handed![]()

And my CPR skills were learnt watching Pam Anderson and Yasmin Bleeth on a Saturday evening.wildbore wrote:Nah, I would just use my belt held between my teeth, like Rambo did when he had to put stitches in his arm.superlightr wrote:...touniquet is usable 1 handed![]()
Most of my medical skills have been acquired from movies or watching Peak Practice.
