lowering springs

Post by kavbhamra » Tue Dec 15, 2015 7:56 pm

So I have had the RS6 for a week which has the dynamic pack. So a question to you guys what springs are you using to lower your RS6 I had H & R on my F10 M5 so not sure what to go for on the C7, I assume it doesn't have air and just a spring set up which what appears to be the case when I popped a wheel off :-)

seems easy enough to change the springs ...the rears especially look easy!!

If you have the dynamic pack you must have DRC which has normal springs (i.e. not air).

You can go for H&R springs. relatively cheap and looks to be about the perfect height.
Or I think KW do a set of adjustable springs which means you can set the height exactly as you like it.

yes buddy that's right normal springs. I'll take a look at the price of the KW as I haven't seen how much they are new, ECP sell the H & R so I can get them at a decent price

The KW adjustable springs are about £730. The H&R are somewhere in the £300 from memory.

Someone recently had a nearly new set of the KW springs on here for £200. I'd have snapped them up if I had known I was getting a 6 so soon!

I assume then that you can fit them without needing to recharge the DRC?
