2 years in and still loving the b8

Post by RIV » Sun Dec 13, 2015 3:13 pm

Well after owning RIV for 2 years now, I was just thinking to myself the other day how good it still is especially this time of year with the damp Rds. Maybe I'm more into the car :kissmyrings: having been driving my van 95% of the time since I started building my house in June.
I think I will be keeping until the new model is out, just hope it's going to be worth the wait

As a fast family car with great 4 wheel drive grip what else is out there?
I monstered a new m3 of the lights in the wet recently, I know if it was dry it would be a different story though, at least you know it's not going to try to kill you on every bend like some of the other competion out atm

I've only had my B8 since April but it's the only car I've owned that I still actually love. Normally after 4 to 6 months I'm on the lookout for something else!
I saw my old L494 RRS parked up yesterday and thought 'that looks great' and for a few seconds thought about getting another one. Then I walked around the corner, saw my RS and thought 'no <beep> way!'
I'm going to keep mine till the new one comes out too.

Gave the beast its first proper clean today. Think I spent more time caressing those arches than I spent talking to my wife all day :-)

I find washing the car therapeutic, keeps me out the house away from my 3 girls bickering

Agreed.

Despite...the continual crap photo's you take of the poor girl. Nardo does run a close second but the spec of RIV is killer though.
