I can't either. I was just passing information from a car magazine from Sweden who normally are correct (i.e. they quote some official press release). I can't see any change expect the wheels and perhaps the blue colour as the above mention car magazine claims is called "Ascari Blue".Eddie555 wrote:Same here. I became a little bit curious, so I read the official press release from Audi. I believe there has been some language issues between English and Swedish, because the press release does mention the exterior parts, but the only changes are the colour (which is exclusive for the performance edition) and that the outside trim that normally would be matt aluminium now is matt titanium.
One thing that I found interesting is that you get the option to choose your driving setting from the steering wheel, similar to what BMW has offered on their M-models for some time now.

Mine never leaves comfort normally. Popped it into dynamic for a few minutes last night and then went straight back into Comfort. I need to move to Wales, I might find a bit of empty road there long enough to justify changing the setting...

I think the steering wheel is extra, not shown in the photos.
It's end of life run out, surely. Why, given current issues, would they spend on bodywork changes. It'll be the same car bar a slight ECU tweak and some trinkets. Seats in Alcantara with blue stitching is not a good start. Aside from the look, which doesn't do a lot for me, they won't wear. And as many of us buy these to throw children and animals into, that's a negative.
I note that there's a minimal torque increase, you only get the short term additional modest boost.
As DK says, easy way to bump price and get some extra margin. There will be plenty of dealers pushing these out at list or, once a few arrive, overs.

As mentioned, sounds like the engine and gearbox are identical. A slight boost increase, and being an automatic, a gearbox map rather than an engine map to increase the red line

Re: Official Audi RS6 Avant 'performance' edition - 605ps
I didn't go Performance due to the fact that it is only available with individual rear seats, essentially making it a 4 seater, unless you fancy sitting on a piece of hard plastic. It's a point most people don't know but will influence their decision...Shame really! Thank me later… (Dealers clearly aren't doing their job).
The wheels are absolutely awful in my opinion, very tacky, looks like something off a Focus RS. As are the ones on the "normal" RS6. Oversize 2007 S5 wheels, yuck!

Lol...I wish mate!
I never buy new...however I'm looking daily at standard used 2014 C7,s.
Pretty much nailed on my next car....just waiting for the right time.
Building an extension on house and a lot of other stuff going on at the min.
However pretty sure il be back soon!!.....However the C7 needs to be good dynamically and handling wise as the Panny will take some beating...although I'm sure in a straight line the C7 will be awesome and quicker.
