MTM M-Cantronic tuning system 675bhp

Post by wrekka » Tue Oct 13, 2015 11:49 pm

Anyone got any experience of this tuning box by MTM? Aparently it is undetectable once removed and gives 675bhp and 850nm.
But it is pricey at £3700!!

These tuning boxes seem very popular over in the US on BMWs. I had one for my M5 from burger tuning. They have a huge following and work really well. I guess they will be much the same setup for the audi?

Mtm are renowned for bot delivering on stated figures. To pay that much would hurt to know you probably wont get that power. If your going to map it then get a custom map. And tbh i doubt aido would reject a warranty claim because of the map.

Gone:-C6 RS6 Saloon - Daytona Grey - ceramics, stage 2, gearbox map, quad tip miltek, pre cat delete and Mrc filters = 753ps + 1052NM

It's always a flammable conversation to have but my own personal experience is DMS in Southampton.

I had an akrapovic exhaust and a remap and am running 728bhp- it's pretty awesome.

Someone will come along in a minute and tell me my car is going disintegrate into a million bits.

Cars has been serviced by Audi and had brakes replaced under warranty without issue.

Seems to be a recurring thread with brake problems on the C7. Mine done 4000 mile and will now be on 3rd set of disks

Never.

My target is 750bhp with only bolt on parts and remap. See some good turbo upgrades but prob wont go that far.
