In fairness, the straight is a good 1500m long an they were going slow
Really good bit of road between Wootten Basset and Ashton Keynes too

Had that happen to me on the way back from Unit20. The guy who did it stuck his finger up as he was pulling out (he knew he was screwing me over) so I had to let the other car undertake me. Caught him up so I could vent my sh1t and saw he had 2 babies in the back. Our roads are full of dipsh1ts!

That happened to me in Shrops in 2005, had a brand new SLK 55 AMG , bloody quick, over took 4 cars on a 1 mile straight clear as a bell, while over taking 2nd car from front pulled out, I braked hard and hit it straight in rear corner, about a 20 mph hit, new bonnet,wing,head light required, car a week old,,,,

After a police report and insurance inquest a won the case and the car that pulled out had to pay all costs and his insurance covered cost of full damage,
easy done and it does happen,

Not a dual carriage way, funny, it was had to prove I was speeding, ,
Police proved I was already passing no. 3 car before no. 2 pulled out, that proved id been out overtaking for a couple of seconds enough time for no. 2 to see me, if they had looked in mirror !!!!, it also helped there drivers mirror was cracked, that helped too,

Sounds like a soap story, it was a nightmare at the time !!

Wow, id of thought if you hit something/anything travelling on the other side of the road you'd be flayed alive. Interesting and good to know.

Had similar happen to me four or so years ago in the S4. Could have sworn I was going to punt the car off the road, managed to stop in time, their rear bumper had disappeared from view in front of my bonnet, it was fecking close! Driver didn't indicte as they pulled out and were completely and utterly oblivious to be being there throughout as they carried on with their overtake.....
