I've got OEM titan B7 wheels on the avus avant, it don't look right. It looked so much better with the black C6 wheels.

I'll sell Darth with the C5 wheels, so over those things.

Let's have a look at the Avant with B7's Bam. Maybe something for a different thread though.

you could, but a proper refurb is quite expensive, and most people will want them done properly. It's not like the new buyer will be putting them on a cheap car. Not sure you'd get your money back on the refurb.

Just give 'em a wash n blow dry, dress the tyres, then add £50 for your troubles to your asking price. A better advert will help sell them, and lets face it, if someone wants them, they'll pay £750.

I only use Lepson's.

There are 5 sets of Genuine C6 RS6 spec peelers available on eBay, including my set which are the cheapest £700.
Set 2 £1200 with ill fitting Falken tyres requires a refurb but not that bad.
Set 3 £1600 in very good condition original silver, never refurb'd no tyres.
Set 4 & 5 are both £2150 with no tyres and have been refurb'd by 360 wheels, whoever they are.

Clearly set two or three are the ones to buy if you have tyres and don't want to have them refurb'd but £2150 plus £75 delivery for set 4 or 5!!! What are those guys smoking?

If these don't sell I'm popping them back on the car after a refurb, gotta be high gloss this time, I'm sick of looking at dull satin/matt finish.

I'd refurb your current set in OEM silver, re-advertise them at £950+refurb cost, leave the tyres off in case the buyer doesn't want/need them, and word the advert something like "if asking price is met, set of mot-pass tyres included" etc

List them on Pistonheads too - wheel and tyre listings are free

However, I'm hardly the person to take wheel and tyre sales advice from tbh, having absolutely no luck at all shifting one brand new Continental and one freshly-refurbed never-been-on-a-car Avus 18. Surprised at the lack of interest, had one polite-but-low offer via SRS, couple other low offers, thats it.

Give em a good clean, take better pics and raise the price. Then when the usual dorks who want something for nothing come along ,tell them you'll lower the price (to what it is now).
I tried selling a brand new s4 wheel shod with spanking new F1 tyre and had people offering me the same as what damaged ones were going for, kept it in the end.

Maybe I should turn it into a coffee table! I can get a nice round piece of glass for it fairly easily.

It's pretty simplez really, no one is buying these wheels at present. I've had one guy asking if they'll fit an A5 and another asking if they could whacked onto an B6 A4. I sold a silver set of these wheels needing a full refurb at the start of the year, those went for a grand.

They're taking up space because they don't fit through the cellar door whereas my 19s do, just. Swapping over to winter 19s soon so I'll refurb these and run them for a month while I get around to round to fitting the winter tyres. Then relist.

Nah, dead prossies get 'healed in' where they drop. The cellar is for trophy kills, you know, people that we all loved but don't post here no more - Sakimano, Arthur, BADMANS...
