Re-spray: Glasgow

Post by Gazzaton » Thu Aug 13, 2015 7:58 am

Washing the car the other week and noticed some bubbling around the tailgate brake light

Would like to get this sorted pronto, anyone know of a good bodyshop in the Glasgow area (I'm near the airport) that they would recommend?

Have you tried going down the warranty route with Audi?

Audi's bodyshop in Hillington did a pretty decent job on my old S3.

Pretty sure the warranty is up, going in for a service at Audi in a few weeks, will maybe get them to have a look at it then

Myself and another member on here have used Simons in Irvine. I can't reccomend him highly enough.

Done a full side, bumper, wheels, optics on mine. Reasonably priced and quality work. Nice guy, good communication etc etc...

Is it not a 12-year corrosion warranty on our cars?

I certainly hope it is as I was in at my local dealer on Monday to see if they could put through a claim on bubbling under the paint and they seemed quite happy to give it a go.

T'was I. Highly recommended. Simon takes great pride in his work and takes time explaining what he'll do, and again, once it's done, he talk you through everything they did.
