Ross - Which year did the dash display change from showing all the gears along the bottom to just a letter and number (M5, D6 etc)?

Cars with 3G. So all saloons and avants mostly 2009 onwards, but plenty of 2009 cars still had 3G. Quite rare on avant, unless a plus.

Hmmm, I've a '58' 2G Avant non-Plus and it has the Letter and number display, so that a bit odd.
