I've only had a PAX in one, but it was brutal! Very well driven though, so much fun had.

I've never even sat in one! But it ticks boxes like. "Do you love Lego?" "Do you like speed?" "Do you like corners?" So I was costing up a 420R. It was £38k for the kit seems a lot for grown up Lego!

Is worry about them though, poor residuals, expensive to service. Porsches are the best value is say, cheap to run in comparison (£360 full service 996, £1,150 full service rs6!).

Where abouts are you? If you do want a Porsche, try rpm technics near tring. If you call up Grieg he's a good guy and will happily talk you through what you could get etc. personally I'm thinking next year a 997 gen2 turbo from them.

Maybe a 996TT, but they are getting a bit old now. I am afraid of a Gen1 997 in case the engine is fooked.. If there is nothing better then I might go for the V8V with Sportshift.

I'd imagine you'd have an easier chance of finding a 'straight' 99TT than you would a V8V for 30k?

You'd struggle to get a straight 996tt for £30k. C4s are up to £25k at the moment.
