They're from the same unit but there are two radars/cameras at offset angles. You can't beat Aussies when it comes to hidden radar tech, even growing there the pigs had radar on their roof rails, that was 25yrs ago.

Hi Si,

Cannot believe you have been "accused" "alleged" speeding about mate

Fasted I've ever seen you go was just as you were about to be eaten by a black B7 ( pre SC) on the A3 some time back, I think some woman in a people carrier blocked your path, about 130ish? No officer sorry it was about 73ish lol

Good luck mate,

Putting those lines on 1 pic is probably to make people think that's it, but in reality all it lets me do is see how big my car is against a scale they don't give! :?

HYFR: These aren't the normal gantry cams, they're actually bolted on the side of the gantry. They're only on 2 gantries (both ways, so 4 total) either side of junction 5 AFAIK.

You've got me worried now. I didn't know about this type of camera. Are there any on the m6 between cov and brum? Just been to preserve and back and didn't know to look out for them.

Anyway, good luck Si!

Sorry dude! I know it sounds bad but you need to make a decision. Fight it or take it. 101 is pretty close to 100, can they be that accurate, blah blah blah. If look to get this to reasonable doubt down to under a tonne: then it's probably 4 points and a £360 fine or something. Rather than 6 points.

Trigger for magistrates is 96 i believe. 6 points and a decent fine is what to expect. Means tested not fixed penalty

They are putting them up on the variable speed limit stretch of the M42. I can't see it being long before the M6 has them on the new variable limit stretch up by Jun 4 or 5 onwards. They have them around the Dartford tunnel / crossing section of the M25 too.

I've also heard from colleagues 'in the know' that they are actually set to trip at any speed above 70mph. The whole '10% + 3' thing doesn't exist with these things.

Welcome to the new Australia, it's the same as the old one just far fewer beaches and less Pommes.

I'm moving to Thailand...
