Stage 1, vs 2 and 3

Post by bobjebb » Tue Apr 26, 2005 10:35 pm

Perhaps a silly question, but let's say you have a stage 1 420bhp remap and at a later date decide on a stage 2/ miltek option. Do you then have to buy another new remap?

it's an expensive business if that's the case? Or do you just need to make sure you have all the work carried out by the same supplier?

hope that makes sense!

iirc the stage 2 involves another remap to take account of the reduced? backpressure due to the free-flowing cats/downpipes etc. I'd guess though that you'd get a dscount if you already have stage 1.

Some tuners will charge you for a new remap....some will offer a discount, and some will do it free providing its within a certain time of the original map work.
