Is it just me or is the RS4 just a dick in hot hatch magnet?

Lately, everywhere I go some idiot tries to race me. 320d's off the lights, Impreza's tailgating when I have my family in the car, a 911 C2 who could not keep up going up a mile long hill and today, a poorly driven V8 Vantage who wanted to play. Going along a dual carriageway he overtook then slowed then when I pulled out he chased after. I was on my own so decided to have a little fun around a stretch called the Seven Bends near us. 1.5 miles of fast twisties. He simply could not keep up. So much for his agile little sports car!

He caught up at the next lights and wound down the window. I was expecting a mouthful but he said 'that goes really well, I couldn't believe how well it handled, it looked like there was no roll'. Good lad. The noise from his sounded great but guess quattro really does makes heroes!

Driving back from Silverstone yesterday a Clio 172 following me kept giving it a go down the A43........but admit it, we all secretly enjoy it as the shoe is on the other foot now I recall trying to race the odd Porsche in my Nova GTE

Are we allowed to say the word race?

....or perform controlled acceleration to defined speed limits; which in many cases allows vehicles with less power the ability to safely perform similar manoeuvres in the immediate vicinity?
