Hi,

I am taking delivery of a beautiful new RS6 in a few weeks time, so am selling my 2006 RS4 saloon. I have owned it for 6 and a half years so am genuinely gutted to see it go, but the RS6 more than makes up for it ! i previous owner before me who had the car from new. Spec details below

Daytona Grey
Black leather interior with Carbon fibre trim
Bose premium sound system
Solar panel sunroof that drives the ventilation fans when the car is left on hot days
Front and Rear heated seats
Full black leather heated recaro bucket seats
Factory fitted Sat Nav
Front and rear parking sensors
6 disc CD changer
Auto xenon headlights
Cruise control

83k miles
Full service history all carried out at main dealers
A service is currently due on the car. The last service was done at 65k miles, and was a main service. It also had an oil change at 69k miles
MOT until Dec 2015

All alloy wheels have scrapes on them, and I don't have time to get these refurbished. There is also a dink in the rear drivers side door. These are the only marks on the body work, I can get more pictures of the wheels and body work on request. The interior is also in very good condition. The RS4 badge on the steering wheel is worn, and there is a tear in the leather of the door panel on the drivers side. No other marks inside, although it could do with a new set of car mats !

I have an offer for part exchange in this condition, but would prefer to sell it privately for a bit more. An offer of around £15k in the next two weeks would be perfect. Someone could get an absolute bargain for a beautiful car that has been perfect to own and drive. Pictures will be added below.

Solar panel sunroof that drives the air conditioning when the car is left on hot days

Unless you've done a very interesting modification, the solar sunroof just drives the ventilation fans at a gentle level, though it does work on any sunny day, even in partial cloud to an extent.
So it will blow ambient air through gently, and certainly reduces the "greenhouse effect" significantly, but there is no active cooling.

Having driven Audis with this option since 2002 I can say that it is nonetheless a very nice thing to have.

I was going to post the exact same thing

But then, lets assume hes been offered 13 on trade in. It needs to sell quick so hes priced it to sell quick. I think there is easily a couple of grand profit here for someone to pick it up and move it on, will sell for 17-18 all day given a bit more time imo.

Its sales like this that screw the second hand market meaning when you come to sell your car at going rates you get <beep> telling stories of cars such as this that go for way below what they are actually worth

Thanks for the comments. I have been offered £14k for trade in, and am picking up my new car in 2 weeks time. The car needs a service, and I have no time to do this and spend time selling it privately. The price is £15k for this reason, or I will just chop it in for £14k. I don't think this is screwing up the 2nd hand market !
