I might be wrong, but it looks like you're using the surround that came with the head unit. If you switch and use the Connects2 CT23AU03 kit and are careful, you can get it all to mount quite a lot more flush. (I've got thisone in mine)

Paid £679 for the unit and then the fitting, aerial and facia kit came to another £240.

I now have Siri in the car too !

I think that is the facia plate that they have used.

It really doesn't look out of place.

I still can't get over the sound difference of the unit when coupled with the bose. so much more range.

Very Happy !

What's the touchscreen like? I don't know why they atill use (or did last time I checked anyway) those crappy resistive screens that do no respond very well to touch, which is a major flaw for a touchscreen. Surely it can't cost that much more for a capacitive screen nowadays? I'd imagine it costs more to find someone that still makes thos crappy resitive screens. I imagine there is some other benefit to them and that is why they still use them. Or have we turned the corner now and are seeing decent touchscreens in cars?

^This concerns me, also. Especially in a car, where you have to be looking and can't do it by feel. You need that touch to work.

Certainly my SPH-DA120 has a capacitive screen.
