They do much more than 155 as standard don't they?

And it could have been Suzuka Grey.

Mine has indicated a lot more on a private track.

Surely not 225 ft per minute carsarecool? (It is of course btw - just taking the mickey); I love the quote about the stopping distance:

"He said using the Highway Code stopping distances in dry conditions, it would have taken the car 1,275ft - nearly a quarter of a mile - to come to a halt, while the maximum range of the Audi's headlights would have only been about 150 yards."

OK.....

But then they go onto say:

"No matter how good the brakes are, unless the driver turns out to be Lewis Hamilton, he would be unlikely to be able to use the braking potential of the car as the G-force would be too great."

You can just imagine the meeting at the paper - OK guys, we've got a speeding motorist (Big Sighs; guy in the corner thinking: ouch I hope I didn't get caught too on my way to that murder the other week) - we need someone to cover it; bring in that chap who covers Neighbourhood watch - everyone is too busy.... Right; Mr/Mrs Neighbourhood watch reporting person: do you condone speeding in any way - NO I CERTAINLY DO NOT; OK you're my person - go and find me some experts to talk about G-Forces..... (NHD watch guy) WHAT; (Echo) Yes, go and find me someone to talk about G-Forces! there must be massive Forces involved - G-Forces here an F1 car only does 150mph? (NHD Watch guy) What like Lewis Hamilton on that show before antiques roadshow? (Echo) Yes... THAT'S IT!!! He can't have been able to brake at the true potential of that car.... I mean an RS4 - don't they name F1 Cars like that? (NHD Watch Guy) I think they do!! like RB11? (Echo) BINGO the RS4 is actually an F1 car that looks like an estate; Report it!!! - go find me moody picture of the F1RS4 car; and Graphics!!! Can you do me a picture!!!; like a map.....

and I could go on; chuckling - but have work to do - ooops get out for a meeting! The Quote was actually from Kevin Delaney ex Met Police; but I reckon he's gone a bit off the mark; as I'm sure he had police cars capable of that speed AND I'm certain that they probably never worried about the G-Forces of the large braking systems they fitted to those cars.... maybe I'm wrong; still made me chuckle.

Disclaimer; I am in no way condoning the actions of this chap; more finding humour in the exaggeration of the press.

Thank god - i thought i was the only person struggling with the excessive G forces generated by my cars, 'sports-focused' braking system.

I really don't know how you boys with ceramics cope.....?

When I hit the brake pedal, I close my eye lids so my eyeballs don't fall out the sockets :)

I wonder though whether the theft was reported post or pre incident ;

Edited - Ignore that, just read the article
