Good price - and remember you'll need to grind off Ol' Knobbly to fit those

Looks like the V1 fit but the V2 don't. Maybe I should update that page.

I think you need to de-knobble for any 275/30 tyre - the extra tread width over the standard (255) inevitably means it sits closer to Ol' Knobbly than I would be happy with

I'm running B7 RS4 wheels shod with Mitchy PSS 275/30/19r - de-protuberance'd. I think the offset on the B7s is high 20s - ET29 if I were to guess. Good clearance.

Why would anyone run 275/30/19 on standard rims instead of the 255/35/19? Can you even get the right load index in that size?

Yep 96Y. The rim protection is great, gives a little better traction, looks phatter on the road.

Good to know. Maybe it's the 20's I was thinking of.

Smaller rolling radius so potentially better acceleration. I like the sound of better rim protection since curbs have a habit of leaping out and biting my alloys.

Yeah 20s are poo for load index. Best I found was 94 for the 255s, you can get 265s to fit too but not many good tyre makes doing those.
