Old one was <beep>, it was the worst purchase I've made. New one is way way overpriced and lacks interior and exterior looks and presence. This obsession with quilting and contrast stitching needs addressing!

Seems the C6 kept you entertained as long as it did me. One of the most boring RS cars made for driver enjoyment. Speed bullet yes but numb as cardboard

I just don't like the new one.

I was thinking about grabbing a S3 sportback in orange and tuning it to 400-500bhp, then I went and drove one today.....scrap that whole plane.

after the r8 most of audis cars are boring drives for when you hit a quiet road at 5am in the morning. Like ross says, a B8 rs4 which is really only c425bhp can be quicker cross country than a 700bhp rs6 shows something.

I don't like my CSL that much, its slow, I don't think much of the noise but you can carry the speed much easier and it just gives so much more feedback. hopefully audi address this soon

The only Audi worth having for fun is an R8. C7 is good if you need 5 seat load Lugger.

And the B8,
you'll probably disagree but
I have as much fun in this as i did in the B7, just a different driving style using the Auto box, IMO.
Loved the B7, love the B8.

I actually prefer my b8 now I've had it for a while.
When you got kids DK, an R8 is about as useful as a chocolate tea pot

Yep, would have loved an R8 but with Two boys, 9 & 7, i would rather have a fast avant and enjoy driving with the family in the car, not on me jack jones!

I remember the amount of new people that moaned about the B7 not being as quick or as exciting to drive early into their ownership.
Only once they were used to and knew how the b7 performed they really got to enjoy the car, bit like the B8.
The more i drive it the better it becomes.

Its fine,
being really picky its smooth where my right hand sits more than the left and the suede looks flat but if you run against the smooth it ruffs up again!!!
at first i kept finding bobbles of black everywhere which was a bit worrying, but that was just initially.
Would spec it again just for the hell of it :D

Same bad experience at Hitchin Audi. Asked for a test drive in a RS4 B8 and a brochure, didn't get back to me didn't even get the brochure. Silly of me but gave them another chance and they still didn't bother getting back to me. They serviced my last RS4 B7 so they knew I was a serious potential client. I live 400 yards from the garage. In the end I bought a brand new one from Dan at Audi Cambridge with 8k of extras so unlucky Hitchin Audi you might as well shut up Shop.
