SOLD - B8 S4, 2011, 25700 Miles, APR-RSC Exhaust, Ceramics

Post by R1NGA » Wed Mar 11, 2015 11:16 pm

I've had the car since Dec 2011 and it was first registered on 4th July 2011. It was ordered by a chap through Canterbury Audi who wanted pretty much all the options, including a factory tow bar kit as he had an Elise that he wanted to take to track days and the like. However, he cancelled the order for some reason and lost his deposit, so the car was registered by the dealership and I bought it 6 months later in Dec 2011.

Here's the spec of the car before I did anything to it, taken from the original order form, with prices back in 2011;

B8 Audi S4 Saloon, 6-Speed Manual Gearbox, Ibis White

Black/Silver Alcantara Super Sports Seats (£605)
Quattro Sports Differential (£620)
Full Audi Drive Select (incl Dynamic Steering, Adjustable Dampers, Sports Diff) (£1245)
19” 5 spoke Rotor alloys (£365)
B&O Sound Pack with AMI (£600)
Hill Hold Assist (£65)
Technology Pack High (incl. Juke Box, 3G MMI, HDD Nav) (£1995)
Audi Exclusive Leather Edged Mats (£305)
Factory Tow Bar (£665)
Through Load System (£165)
Heated front Seats (£280)
Rear Side Airbags (£255)
Black Styling Pack (£365)
Carbon Atlas Inlays (£255)
Tyre Pressure Monitor (£75)
Bi-Xenon Adaptive Dynamic Lights (£330)
Phone Prep High (£455)

To this I have added;

Movit Ceramic 396mmx40mm Discs + 6-pot Monoblock Callipers on Front (£7900 in 2012)
Braided Hoses to Suit
Full APR RSC CAT-Back exhaust with black chrome tips (£2200)
APR Carbon Intake Tube
Full Paintwork Detailing in 2012 plus repeat 'refresh' in 2013
MTM Cantronic 430bhp Module (not refitted at present, following Service in Dec) (£1800)
Video In Motion mod to allow DVDs to play via VAGCOM
Oil Temp Gauge and Lap-timer enabled via VAGCOM
Bluetooth Audio Streaming via AMI
Michelin Pilot Supersport tyres (4-5mm all round)
Proper Oil Dipstick!

Car has a full Audi Service history via Crawley Audi, who actually supplied the car as they are my local dealer and sold me all my previous Audi's over the years - both Canterbury and Crawley are both part of the Inchcape Group.

Car is unmarked and has done little in the way of miles over the past couple of years as I work at home now and have other cars to use. The S4 has spent too much time clean and tucked up in the garage - I guess I never wanted to get it that dirty really. I now think it should go to a better home as its too nice to leave locked up.

The Ceramic brakes weigh over 9kg less per side than the stock S4 brakes and have a similarly positive effect on the steering and suspension response. They are a full, long-chain ceramic construction, not the cheaper chopped fibre types. Needless to say they stop very well and continue to do so, regardless of the speed and how hard you're using them.

Here are my Servicing Notes;

Full Paintwork Detailing, Paul Dalton, Miracle Detail @ 10,600 - May 2012
Oil/Filter and Software Update (Crawley Audi) @ 15,000 - Dec 2012
Detailing Refresh + Stone Chip Repairs (Miracle Detail, Paul Dalton, Dunsfold) @ 16,100 - Feb 2013
New Ceramic Discs + New 6-pot Calipers @ 17,600 - Apr 2013
Full Service (tyres down to 5mm) @ 21,400 - Dec 2013
Full Service + AntiFreeze 'Once' Coolant @ 24,930 - Dec 2014

Fully stamped Audi Service History and all the associated paperwork included. I'm looking for £25,000 with the stock brakes, or £29,000 with the Ceramics fitted (and the stock items in the boot...). Registration not for sale I'm afraid. Car will be on GL11 OJS

Please mail or call for more info. I live in Surrey.

Folks - have decided to put my S4 back to stock and remove brakes, APR exhaust and APR Carbon intake. If anyone is interested in the bits, please email me directly and we can see what's what. Thanks.

Looks like the car has gone now (a measly £22,500, so someone will get a bargain if they come up trumps next week) and so has the APR intake pipe. However the brakes and exhaust remain up for grabs.
