Help with Nav & Media please

Morning all,

Please can someone help me out?

I have a good friend with a 2006 3.0 TDI A4 Cab.

He is looking to update his Nav and phone in the car.
I could do with a bit of advice on which upgrade he could buy, he wants to keep the look of OEM.
I have seen 2011 RNSE 3G kits available on eBay, but don't want to advise him incorrectly.

Would he be able to use any of these systems, or are certain ones specific to certain models?
