Not Brand new, but at that money you can grab something very nice which is a couple of years old max (and in my opinion better than the RS6), and would have already taken the hit with the depreciation.

It all comes down to money. If you have it then go for it!

Thanks all. R8 V10 would be fantastic, but can't take the family camping or to the beach for the day (easily!). I posted over in the C7 forum as well and had a great comment back that probably sums up my thoughts best.
aljenod wrote:Tough one. Still today I think the B7 is the best drivers car I've owned, but that was a few years back now, and I've probably matured (gotten very old very quick probably a better description) over the years. If you like the nimbleness, throw it anywhere, driving manual box, V8 snarl, then C7 probably not for you. But i guarentee that if you do end up in a C7 you won't be disappointed. It's a totally different beast, pure grunt and does it with such composure. Dynamically, its lacks, purely down to its weight, but don't get me wrong, there won't be many cars on the road that will sit on your bumper. I try to think it's a natural progression of my life, everythings getting bigger but I'm doing it in a more refined manner.
And as I said to him/her that I am not sure I am ready to go from the more visceral driving experience of the B7 to the greater cosseted power of the C7. Maybe in a year or so, but by then we'll know all about the B9 RS4 :-)

But face it, a new B9 or C7 is not going to be a particularly sound financial choice

Of course
But a 09/59/10/60 have stopped.

Nothing else on the market for sub £60k that has a 525PS V10 n/a mid engined super car looks and impeccable build quality.

New R8 at twice the money in such small numbers won't effect the early cars
