Don't stress too much about upgrading, mine did fine on its stock suspension all about being smooth!

I'm tempted to try and persuade her that it's a good idea for me to put on the weekend and stay for the week to do the dn track day Wednesday and Thursday, my mates going and thinks it's completely different without any traffic!

I'm tempted to try and persuade her that it's a good idea for me to put on the weekend and stay for the week to do the dn track day Wednesday and Thursday, my mates going and thinks it's completely different without any traffic!

apart from once last Sept I have always been really lucky with traffic. we were there in April and the track was really quiet, i did a couple of laps where i only saw 2-3 other cars in an entire lap. just pot luck i guess

I tend to be one of the first on in the mornings which helps - 8am starts (especially on a sunday!) tend to make for a quiet track. Downside is of course it can be a little more slippery with dew etc.

I always say I'm going to be in the weight for the moustache to move the barrier at 8am, but then when it comes down to getting up I roll over for "5 more minutes"....

This time though.... I want a decent lap in the morning with no traffic. Apart from the gt3rs's that will I'm sure move me over...

good work Ross - my first lap ever was in drizzle and light mist at 8am, i watched the go pro footage last night and it was pretty slow but i was still overtaking things - left my 2 mates for dust
