By Royal Appointment...?

Post by gord » Mon Apr 11, 2005 11:17 am

My Mum has spent the entire weekend 'Camilla-watching' on the telly (as ladies of a certain age tend to do that sort of thing) and reckons that the Happy Couple were seen being driven in car "exactly like yours". Even my dad said it looked like an RS6 to him.
I know he has pretty fine taste when it comes to transport, but did anyone else notice his Royal Highness's choice of honeymoon wheels?

Not so sure myself.
I saw a bit on the news last night and they were being driven away from the church in Scotland in what looked like an Alllroad to me.

Yeah, I too saw a Highland Green allroad just like my old one except that it had "bling bars" (silver roof rails etc.) Like seeing an ex really as I sold mine a month ago and replaced with a Touareg as I couldn't wait that long for Q7. Now new allroad is confirmed, that gives me a further option once Treg expires. Once it was so easy to choose, now it's like a box of chocolates...maybe just another one in a while.

Think he has several Audis, the sprogs both drive S3's and not so long ago, I remember reading in Audi mag that St James Palace would be using only Audis for the next four years. He must have beaten them up for the discount

Saturday TV was so poor.... 2 and 4 had the grandnational and 1 and 3 had the wedding.... TSK.....

My options Saturday afternoon were to sand walls then paint them, or watch the wedding for a few hours. No contest - I hate sanding ;)

Not guilty...... was putting rally car back together after getting it back from the jig... was slightly banana shaped, now square again. A few more afternoons and it will be ready for gyometry check  Did see some of it on various news reports after.. and also wish I didn't watch the national, my horse is still running

Don't talk to me about the National. I bumped into a very well-known jockey in a fuel station early on Saturday morning and got chatting to him (about cars actually - he was in a brand-new BMW of some sort). He assured me that Hedgehunter was an excellent choice :sekret: . I nevertheless ignored his advice - I study my own form, i do (!). Needless to say not one of the 4 three-legged donkeys which i punted on even finished the race. Meanwhile Mrs 'that jockey was really nice' Mac put 100 notes on Hedgey to win. Doh! Doh! and triple doh!

I seem to remember RobK in his S4 visiting Prince Andrew one day, but I'm not so sure he had an appointment
