Then I wouldn't feel like a pain in the arse checking it all the time.

You could even run a device at the final stage so that it gives an image of the car as it begins it's journey, all automated onto one of those devices that the parcel guys use for the scanning of barcodes.
Maybe a chance for you to contact Audi and make some money :beerchug:

I'm hoping for a blast down to Cornwall bank holiday weekend so hopefully it'll be here by then!
Is it advisable to take it easy for the first few miles??
Not had a performance car before so any advice welcome!

Just don't redline it from day 1. I drove mine pretty hard from day 1 and 13k later and it still works.

Sneaky suspicion btw the way: I reckon that the dealers are on / running a month 1 kick start type program. Gentlemen, i'd not be surprised if these cars are with us by hook or crook to get the m1 money in the bank, i.e. We're off to a cracking start!!! OR. The car sales guys need to bank bonus for summer holiday, which is usually one month behind, end of April mean end of May means dosh for summer hols.

recent email from Stafford - Kind of confirms my suspicions:

Dear Customer

We would like to inform you that we have had a cancelled fleet order of over 20 cars made up of A3,A4,A5 TTC,A6,A7,Q3,A1

These cars must be registered by 30th April

So here,s the good news

We have secured some extra discounts from Audi to help us to move these vehicles on.

We are only sending this to our own customers so you can take advantage of the big discounts.

If you would like some more information please call our sales team on 01785 250444

Regards

James Bateman

Salesman rang again this morning.
'Apologies but I made a mistake yesterday'
At least a couple of weeks till I see my car. Which probably means a month!
Change of plan for bank holiday now!
