I am trying to get my head around this. This is what i have bought:

Cash Price: £83,209
Less:Advance payments/allowance: £21,510 (this includes my deposit of £17,000)
balance of cash price/amount of credit: £61,698.65
Add charges: £7296.55 <------------ No idea what this is ???
Balance: £68,995.20
Balance Payable by 35 monthly rentals: £742.93
Followed by a rental of: £43,117
Acceptance fee: £125
purchase fee: £60
APR: 4.8%

Based on 10k miles a year

Now my question is this: If the dealer is putting in £3.5k + Audi contribution of £6k then where in the above is this reflected ??? I would have thought the Less:Advance payments/allowance would have been £26k (my deposit + £9.5k from the dealer/audi

The charges is the interest (4.9%)

Is the £83k the list price or does that include the dealer discount?

Is your "Cash Price" the full on the road price before any discounts? If so the simple figures would be;

£83,209 less deposit of (£17,000) less dealer and Audi discount (£9,500) = £83,209 - £26,500 = £56,709 to finance.

Your figure is showing £61,698.65 to finance, a difference of £4,989? The added charges figure is your balance figure less your monthly payments x 35 plus your final payment figure less the Acceptance fee.

As above, what is your spec list price?

The cash price may already have a discount applied to it if you have say a £90k+ spec

On mine....

Cash price = the List price minus any discounts but not including the contributions
Less:Advance payments/allowance = Deposit customer + dealer contribution

To get the figure of what the dealer discounted over and above the 6k, do list price minus cash price. But if you're saying you put 17k in, I dunno what's up on yours.

If your List price is circa £89k and you're getting 9.5k discount then actually, maybe they did it they opposite way round to the above:

£89k - £6k contribution = £83k as you see in cash price

Then they added the extra £3.5k onto the deposit 17k + £3.5k = 21.5k. Actually no that would be 20.5k, not 21.5 so I dunno what they've done.

My figures are also as above.

Cash price is shown which includes the dealer discount already applied.

I would be too if you're supposed to be getting 9.5k off list. According to your figures, you're getting £7661 off List price.

Just beware, if you go exclusive it'll extend the delivery time.

I take it resale isn't a factor!

Yeah i heard it extends the delivery time by 8 weeks - mental! I would have thought having a colour a little more unique would be a better selling point? To be honest i've never seen an exclusive colour struggle to sell, even orange...

I think it does to a certain extent on this type of car, whether a dealer will think the same come trade in time is another matter.

Notice they don't adjust your GFV no matter how many boxes you tick.

Mmm. I think orange will be hard to shift. Same for Imola and Java. You limit your market.

Nice write up & defo goes to show that Audi are/were loading the GFV to stimulate sales. Nothing unusual as most Manufacturers do this, just surprised Audi didn't do it sooner on the pre facelift cars :audibash:[/quote]

This sale was most certainly stimulated, I went in looking for a RS4 but came out with a RS6. The difference in monthly payments was near as damn it £300 per month.
