MK Meet - Weds 1st April

MK Meet - Weds 1st April, 6:30pm onwards onwards at the Caldecotte Arms, Milton Keynes.

Our first daylight meet of the year immediately after the clocks have changed. Month meets from now onwards, hopefully the weather will be more suited to oogling cars than the last two meet ups! 6:30pm onwards, any enthusiast welcome, usual suspects please post your interest, potential MK meet newbies please post below so we can look out and welcome you! The meet is posted on RS246, Audi SRS, the S2 Forum and TSN. As mentioned previously, the food is very much part of this meet, its great to get everyone around a table together.

For any newcomers (or forgetful old timers) the Caldecotte Arms pub is by the junction of the A5 and the A4146 right next to the oddly shaped - and now smoothly resurfaced - roundabout under the A5 (great for testing your Milltek). Look for the Windmill! Coming off the dual carriageway, drive down as far as the pub and then turn left towards the outside 'arc' of the car park - the top tier so to speak.

Me too - snotter hasn't been washed since the first week in November! Needs it after collecting some road kill on the Tingewick bypass Sunday evening. Winter wheels coming off tomorrow, got to clean them up and sell them.

Winter tyres off .... Thinking along the same line but we did get snow late April some years back albeit in Norfolk.

Oh yes .. April 19th, drove up on the Friday and woke to at least 2" in the Saturday morning ,was a few years ago but remember it well as it was on my b/day........

Lol ....might as well had been now been told it was Thetford forest center parc's and about 23 years ago.... apart from the snow can't remember much else ..... but was driving a MK 2 Scirocco Scala and yes White with white interior .

This Weds chaps. A4 back on summer tyres already and will receive much-needed wash before Weds, however might be there under A3 TDI power this time (sorry DK!)

Great to see everyone under what was fairly disappointing weather for our first daylight / summertime meet of the year. 8 attendees, mixed selection of cars from an MX5 + 330d through to RS4 + RS6
