General question really, but as im ordering a RS6....
Does the dealer make a difference? I.e do they get allocated build weeks so is it worth shopping around? Or are is purely first come first served?
Guessing this may need someone who works at Audi but worth a shot!l
Thanks
Build Weeks, does dealer make a difference?
Re: Build Weeks, does dealer make a difference?
I think some dealers have contacts at Audi UK which can assist in speeding up the build week, however it's not guaranteed. The other option is to find a dealer that has ordered a stock car which can be amended and already been allocated a build week. Even then though things can change if you vary the spec too much.

Build Weeks, does dealer make a difference?
Thanks Phantom, all hope is not lost then, was told augustish if i ordered today

Re: Build Weeks, does dealer make a difference?
August sounds right. Only quicker route would be one in flight as above.
Re: Build Weeks, does dealer make a difference?
Any ideas/tips on finding one in flight? Short of spamming all the dealers by phone or email i guess?
Re: Build Weeks, does dealer make a difference?
Not really, I guess there are a few dealers that people seem to use on a regular basis on here which might be more helpful. I know my dealer has two new ones on order for stock but both are exclusive colours. One is either Merlin or Venetian Purple I think and the other was going to be Riv Blue but after they found out there was already one on the market I think after my recommendation they were changing that to Ara blue (R8 LMX colour).
