Thanks for taking the time to explain.
I would second that. I prize healthy debate with those with technical knowledge. It is a shame few actually input to the forums. I hope we see no more threads locked in this fashion.
The issue here is not what you would like to see, it is what everybody would like to see, and as many had expressed a view that the thread was heading downhill and off the pier, somebody at some point has to make an action that is sometimes regretable but also unavoidable. While not wishing to curb people's ability to express their views, a certain amount of control has to be retained when this expression gets out of hand, or starts to degress so far off topic as to be unrecognisable. And as expressed by Phil, the site has to protect the sponsors who have been so good as to put their hands in their pockets................

I am baffled. How is possible to not realise that the ECU had not been remapped? The difference between a stock B5 S4 and even a mildly tuned one on the road is pretty obvious isn't it?

Surely all want informed debate re tuning options. There are many examples of previous threads discussing tuning companies that have followed a similar path.
It is important with the multitude of companies out there that considered opinion is expressed from those with direct experience. This allows others to form a balanced view.
I do appreciate that you need to walk a fine line with the sponsors. That should not however preclude healthy debate.
Having used this forum extensively I think overall there is a very balanced view expressed re different tuners.

No forum precludes healthy debate, they do however have to moderate the subject matter and content................. its now the holiday weekend, the sun is out, the BBQ lit and a box of beer in the fridge needs used........ so go forth and have a good weekend :bigwave:

Where are you based in UK now mate? website? etc...

I currently run an apr 98 ron map @ 1.4 bar max on amk 210 lcr k04 turbo runs 255-260 bhp all day long 6 dyno's four locations  270-280lbft, do you think with a 3" downpipe apr and miltek and YOUR custom map thete would be much to be gained?/ dare i say more for less boost etc?
