Rear diff leak

Just had the car in to get the exhaust tips changed which went fine, had a call to say theyve noticed the rear diff leaking!!

Anyone else had a diff leak?

Just noticed four or five oil spots on the drive now the cars not here so it can't have been leaking long.

It was a known issue on the early B8's with the sports diff. My S4 had the drive shaft seals replaced under warranty.

You'd have thought they'd have fixed that issue by now though.

Turns out it's not just a leaky diff but now needs a prop shaft

All covered, It's only 5 months old.

Yes, East Lancs. Was passing and called in for a brochure, and there were three B8 RS4 Avants - a Sepang (WRR, from memory?), a Daytona on a private plate and a Ibis White. Yours looked stunning with the Lancashire sun on it! There was also an Imola B7 saloon. Saw a picture previously of yours on here somewhere - thought I recognised the reg. Has it been sorted yet?

Yes that will have been mine then, It's currently sat waiting for the new bits fitted tomorrow so hopefully i'll get it back for the weekend.

Loan car's another RS4 though so at least i'm still having fun

No, this is an Audi uk car.

The black one was still there last time I visited so must be sold.
