Agreed, it's brilliant sticking to an SLS like glue and seeing the guys shocked expression when i pull alongside when we reach traffic xD If it didn't look like a (reasonably) plain estate car it wouldn't have the same effect.

You've done that?

I think it was an early SLS, and i got a bit of a tow in his slip stream but yes, followed him from 100 to 160 before traffic slowed us up. I might have been lucky and caught him in the wrong gear but he was still surprised :P

This is completely fictional, I'd never exceed the speed limit of course! :sekret:

That would be entertaining to watch
Now tell us you have a dash cam or similar and you've got it all on film please. :biggrin3:

Unfortunately not, I have fitted a gopro by the rear view mirror before but worried about it being more incriminating than anything else so don't bother any more.

The only video braggage i have is from the 'on your marks' charity event at bruntingthorpe, trying to pass a dodge viper :D

*back on topic*

If that 700+hp C5 was looking less chavvy it would be an amazing sleeper! It's one thing to match fast cars, another to embarrass them! :nodder:

Funny thing is so many positive comments and likes on fb and a only a few dislikes. Only on here do you get such remarks and i did expect and did think to myself not share. Really is par for the coarse on 246 from the usual guys, but never mind.

id not do the yellow bits if was my personal car, but its a company project to take to shows with our other cars, and really it does attract much attention (positive) as we have tested.

We have many rims and spare mirror covers and we will play with over time.

Stick some better wheels and mirrors on, then start another thread mate. The build is pretty good, the look isn't. I'd be surprised if any other RS6 owner thought that car looked good, young saxo owners, maybe.
You stuck a vbox on it yet?
previous- Pug 205 gti, 306 gti, 309 gti Goodwood.
Audi S3, S4 V8 avant.
Porsche Macan Turbo.
Gone but NEVER forgotten - C5 RS6 Misano red avant.

Now - Empty garage

If you don't know where you're going, any road will take you there!

Yeah i warned on the BMC myself as also knew of the negative stuff. Was used really as fitted the space. Lets see when we map if causes a restriction, we will swap out. Interested in your XJR comment !

Dont worry it will change

You're joking, right? The very first comment - clown mobile.
Likes on FB are worth nothing. You can even outsource to companies in India that 'like' anything you post for £10 a day. So, how many of those 'likes' do you think came from people who actually own Audis, a car or let alone an RS6 of any year?

I'm not hating on you here, Si. I'm just offended that you say you expected the reaction we gave you BUT then you try to tell us the rest of unqualified world is right! Remember, everything posted on here is opinion, I thought you'd have learn to deal with it by now, mate.

In these circles, the car looks like a steaming turd.

Still interested in tubular headers ;-) Totally understand a wacky works demo though even if it's not my thing. Also totally expected the reaction on here lol.

In other news still delighted with your turbos. Had a back to back test with a local car for the first time since tune and puller over half a dozen cars on the slip road alone lol

Don't do it. Number chasing always ends with the buyers remorse.
