finance - feed back pls
finance - feed back pls
Morning all,
I've been chatting to a friend over the weekend who's been looking at a new C7. He can't come on here for reasons too boring & complicated to explain!
Figures from the dealer on a car that is in build but currently unsold. Delivery for March '15 is as follows:
Car OTR £90,080.00
discounted to: £83,716.00
Dealer contribution £15k
deposit £12k
Monthly payments £860 x48
Final payment £35,767.00
Full spec of the car is on audi code: ACFNSGHJ
Anyone got any thoughts on this? I'm clueless on what the RS6 has to offer deal wise.....
Thanks
Al.

Re: finance - feed back pls
dealer contribution of 15k (3k more than deposit) seems huge but then im no finance expert or guru

Re: finance - feed back pls
Yeah, something's not right. Car discounted to 83k AND a 15k deposit contribution? Seems highly unlikely. Dealer contribution 3k, then it looks about right.
The finance is the finance, standard fair @ 4.9%.

Re: finance - feed back pls
Think all the figures are right except the dealer contribution (Audi Finance really) should read £3K and deposit of £12K (individuals contribution) for a total deposit of £15K. If you have a quick play on the Audi Finance Calculator using the figures above it works out about right. Overall discount of £9,364 sounds pretty good

Re: finance - feed back pls
Yes, in my opinion. I ordered my car from my local dealer who I have dealt with for the last six years and got a bit more discount than that but not by much. However, they did a good trade in as well which sweetened the deal. I did check on Carwow to see how the discount stacked up and was pleased to find that the quotes I received were not as good. Most dealers were not giving any more than the £3K + £3K and one even quoted just the £3K Audi contribution with no discount from the stealer. All I would say is when your spending this much on a car make sure its what you want rather than compromise for a good deal.smudge wrote:Yep, confirmed as the correct combination.RSphantom wrote:Think all the figures are right except the dealer contribution (Audi Finance really) should read £3K and deposit of £12K (individuals contribution) for a total deposit of £15K.
