Booking in to MRC

Post by Noyjatat » Mon Jan 26, 2015 7:22 pm

Well nearly finished making the outside the way I would like it (should be done by the end of Feb) so decided that while I have the chance I would get it down to MRC. The car made 399.9 at SRR in around October so it will be a health check followed by a new set of filters and a stage 2 remap unless they find a problem. I imagine it will need a carbon clean but I will wait until a little later in the year to get that done.

Nice one Gaz. Does the 5 suffer from carbon build up like the 4? I thought it was primarily the 4 that suffered.

Not so sure buddy and a thorough search of the MRC videos has left me unable to find any work done on an RS5 by them so it will be interesting to see how this goes. I am not expecting too much as we all know how difficult it is to get much out of these cars and hopefully will give others an idea of what potential gains/problems are.

Cheers DK, well she is booked in for this Friday so barring any major faults found during the health check we will see how the car gets on :)

I have a rough idea of what its start point is. What had been done to Homer at 432 buddy?
