You can't really blame them though can you! If I owned a tyre depot I would do the same.

Nope, you can't do it yourself so they can charge what they like.

My local kwikfit did mine as I day for £10 a corner. And that included one old TPMS sensor needing to be drilled out as it had corroded so bad. You never know until you offer them cash in their pocket when they're on a quiet afternoon :)

£643 all in, fitted for four Michelin Super Sports from Audi. That worked out at about £10 per tyre for the fitting.

York, but I believe most will try to price match. They matched Tyre Leaders prices at the time. Audi's list price for c.£1150 IIRC.

f1's are great tyres, PS2's are better, Super Sports are even better.

Having had all 3 also I agree in therms of grip & performance, but in terms of road noise the PSS are significantly louder than the PS2 which in turn are louder than the F1s.

I paid £590 3 months ago (they're now £646), then get down to your local tyre place and whack them on for £10 a corner :)

tenner a corner ??lol my nearest is evans halshaw and they want £16 a corner the robbing bar stuarts!! :biggrin3:
Merityres charge £1 and inch plus VAT per wheel !! I had a massive argument over it when I asked them why exactly it cost more to fit a 19" instead of say a 15". they couldnt give me an answer (obviously) and just kept stating that it was company policy. If I'd known I before they'd fitted me up (literally) I'd have gone elsewhere.
