Out for a spin to Glenshee earlier today. One of the best days of the winter so far.

2 weeks until road trip to Switzerland. Any tips? (apart from not eating yellow snow) I might stick a spare wheel in the boot as dont fancy going up or down the mountain with a repaired wheel.

Watch for speed cameras too, as they hide them everywhere and the fines are huge !
They won't let you leave the country until you've coughed up and it canbe thousands
Watch exchange rates if you're paying with card as they're having a few currency issues right now

+1 for sticking another wheel in the boot.
And get a SANEF tag so that you can bypass the toll booths on French motorways.

+1 for the tag, just have to get the positioning right otherwise it's a ball ache!

I have a spare clip but haven't got round to installing it in the B8 yet. There's far more "gubbins" behind the rear view mirror than there was on the B7.
Are our windscreens covered in anything RF reflective?

I would say yes. We resorted to hanging out the window.

Ahh, I'd better do some experimentation and use the dual-mode ticket/tag lanes until I've found a reliable spot to attach it!
