Re: Surrey Rolling Road Day - Saturday 17th January 2015
you need the gearbox hot - I bet the more runs you do the power comes up - but then you have to be careful you don't heatsoak the engine and it makes less (proper pita for the turbo cars stopping heatsoak with multiple runs) the b8s usually do 420-440ps on our dyno

Re: Surrey Rolling Road Day - Saturday 17th January 2015
Mine was exactly 2% down as well (525hp - 514.9hp) so must be the different dyno. I guess SRR also didnt have any intercooler blowers so probably was down another few hp.
Winding up Silas, he looked gutted lol. Sorry for shaky vid.

Doug, graphs below. It's only done 250 miles since you tweaked it and it's still the same brute, just having to adjust driving style to this weather as it struggles to lay it down.

445HP vs. 490PS for me, but clearly not running at its best, judging by the air coming out of the back during the run.kent_andy wrote:Dyno comparison wise i was 2% down compared to my Mrc run just before Xmas.

Re: Surrey Rolling Road Day - Saturday 17th January 2015
charge coolers need to be super cool to start with or big power differences - still on same fuel? Charlie gets similar numbers to our on the b8s so something not right - and you didn't rev to 7200 limiter.TechNick wrote:445HP vs. 490PS for me, but clearly not running at its best, judging by the air coming out of the back during the run.kent_andy wrote:Dyno comparison wise i was 2% down compared to my Mrc run just before Xmas.

I loved you face, but I think we all felt for Louie and the Datsun. After you left Louie Charlie suggested go back to litchfield instead of svm.
