No matter where you go, there you are.
good value B8
^ it's £2k more and 2months older
And whilst not spec'd it, I'd wager it's lower spec as the Misano has a pano roof
But still decent

Well spotted. I love the pano roof, I know I shouldn't but I do.

22% discount of ROTR assuming you don't mind a 3month old demo ?
I see (I assume) sports pack, B&O and pano roof only
Good deal though assuming you don't mind an ex demo and possibly much higher mileage than the advertised 700 (would a dealer swap out its demo on 700miles ? I can't see it)
Best colour by miles too

I spec up the options listed
The fact it's running a private plate says the head of sales or the like is running it for 3months...

Guess so
Surely ex demo mileage won't be 700 though
Swindon Audi don't trade their demos in until 6-8k or a year (excluding r8 cars)

Re: good value B8
Define a "demo"
Audi have minimum demo standards, I.e a minimum number of physical cars, dictated by model, that must be available for customers to 'demo'
That doesn't stop the dealer registering more than the minimum requirements to reach registration targets. They can be funded on the same Demo wholesale funding plans from VWFS (low rate/free) and the retailer has tagged them as "demo"
A "demo" legally cannot be sold before 3months old due to the discount given by the NSC
But after three months they are free to sell it, and if they wash their face then they will regardless of mileage
The demo's you are referring to with 6-8k on would be deemed 'core' demonstrators, I.e the ones satisfying the minimum standards

...or a dealer principle's car that he's bored of after 6 months of use?

Re: good value B8
I agree in principle. However, selling an £65k car for £50k would be even lower than the dealer would've paid Audi uk for it if it was nearly new at the quoted 700milesHYFR wrote:Define a "demo"

The dealer system obviously knows the second have market well and that car would fetch more through their network, so I'd suggest the mileage is for the purpose of the advert and to draw attention rather than being accurate
I'm prepared to stand corrected though, and if correct, then that represents an absolute bargain

Re: good value B8
Graeme is absolutely right I'm sure.
I've said previously that when I looked at the "demo" car option rather than new that my finding was most had an advertised mileage considerably lower than the car was actually being sold with. I complained to one dealer who tried to excuse himself by saying the mileage changed all the time, to which I said surely the price would too. I think he accepted my point and that the means of attracting interest via inaccurate info was a little cynical.

Re: good value B8
Don't be so naive to think dealers don't sell demo's at a "front end" loss
These are not Range Rover Sports. Audi AG clearly has a glut of them they are shoving down the UK's throat
