Which would be quicker??

Hi all,
While out today in the family runaround we had a s8 come past then few cars later a b5 rs4. Followed the rs for a while as it went back to single carriageway but when the road dualled again the b5 was deffo giving chase to the s8. The b5 did sit very nice on the road for the few miles we followed. The s8 had a private plate so unsure of year but would say it was more than 5 year old. Which would be quicker?. I wish i was in my b7 as they were heading in the direction of our home town so would have mixed it up with them.

I'd say B5 for no particular reason. If it were the D3 S8 then it's got 450ps, with very few B5s staying standard, I'd guess the RS4 would have close to the same horsepower and possibly more torque with a stg1-2 map.

It'd have been a good battle to watch though!

I'd agrees it's that too. Something about those D3 S8's though that I really like. Probably a super daily if you had something exciting for the weekend. If it was one car, you'd be wishing you had the pair of turbos strapped to it in the RS6.

Al, you should know the rules though... Pictures are a must. We want to see too!

Haha sorry Marc no can do on the pics. Phone was in pocket whilst driving and couldn't get to it. B5 looked a very nice one though. Should have been in mine and showed them the way lol
