Thanks for the positive feedback guys,

Always liked Bramleys cars when I have seen them online, and figured they were like Camtune or Paragon for that style of clientele.

Hopefully this kind of car wont be flying out the door this time of year as i doubt I will get a chance to go down there this weekend and may go next and see what its like in the flesh.

Ha ha no doubt about it the b7 is good, but I spanked one on the way back from a meet the other day, made me laugh about lengsters comments about the b8 not handling well :smile_smoking:

If I remember correctly, at the b8 launch at Milbrook, when audi guys were questioned as to why no turbos or progress over the b7, they had said the b8 RS4 was 15 seconds or so faster on the Nurburgring than the b7
I'm sure Google will throw up some times for comparison, but it's a good indication of the performance difference

In saying that though, there's some fast modded b7's about on 246, and B8's seem to be largely untouched so far other than filters and exhausts. Certainly on here anyway

Funny that, I raced a brand new black B8 on the Autobahn last summer on the way to Berlin. From 50mph to 184mph. We stayed together all the way matching each other and letting each othe overtake and accelerate to see if each other kept up. And we did. Admittedly Im modded as below. But what a great race and a good lad he was. So sorry but a good B7 will match a B8.

I don't reckon it would be far from it given the amount of gear changes on that circuit
From real world experience, it's certainly a big factor in the performance difference
There is a little bit of in gear improvement, but seven gears and near instant changes is a big factor

In Germany, the B8 would no doubt be laden down with sausages, beer and big breasted women. It's not a fair comparison :)

So a "good" B7 is a modded B7?

I guess it depends what the big breasted women are doing with the sausage, but certainly that could be a distraction.

Im not here to spark the great B8 vs B7 debate again :D

And no, I haven't put a deposit down, so if someone else has got there first then maybe it solves my dilemma !!

Is there any reason this isn't a good option to consider getting so my B7 can go into retirement ??
