please help guys
Hi guys, could someone help me please. My sister has a 2006 black rs4 in mint condition. It's got all the toys, buckets, flat bottom wheel boss sound system, full milltek, full history and 59k miles. Anything that's needed doing has been done. The only one problem is its showing 8 owners, one was me. We have been told this is down to plate changes. What would it be worth as she's looking to sell.
Thanks guys
Brent

Re: please help guys
is it full audi history and all stamped??
Re: please help guys
I believe so mate yes. Or at least audi specialist
Re: please help guys
Depends on if it's a saloon or Avant, depends on the actual true condition including stone chips, seat bolsters etc. Depends on how long ago the brake discs were changed, if the oil cooler has been done, any history or DRc issues / changed etc. Quite a lot of variables to be honest. Autotrader should give you a good idea of ball park fiugre as there are loads on there. Depending on actual real condition (everybody says mint and car wants for nothing but this is rarely true) it could be anywhere between £16 and £20k I'd say.

Oh, I forgot about the 8 owners, that will put a lot of people off so may be a bit less than what I said above.

Re: please help guys
theres a couple of things that usually go wrong, like mike says aux rads and oil cooler but main thing is DRC which is suspension and that could be very costly to new owner if knackered so you usually find people who want to buy have done there homework and need to see receipts etcetc so proof they been done and that helps keep the value.as for 8 owners I don't really think its a issue as long as the services have been done by audi..that stamp you get off audi for a service is gold when coming to sell.but like mike says between 16k and 20k.best thing to do is surf ebay, autotrader and pistonhead and look for roughly same car and see what they going for.dont go to a trader coz they will want it for nothing.hope this helps

Re: please help guys
FYI, plate changes don't affect previous owners.
About £18k sounds right though (a little more if mint, a little less if rough).

Thanks a lot guys, really helpful. There are no knocks or bangs. The drc is fine, but can get audi to varifiy if needed. She wants 17k for it, would this be about right if all is well. Thanks again guys

Re: please help guys
yeah if you take it to audi and ask them for full inspection to make sure DRC fine and theres no leaks from rads it all adds to selling car and a potential buyer will love that as it will be piece of mind..i would go as far to ask for 18k as it got miltek and be prepared to be knocked down...better be knocked down from 18k than 17k..get some pics up on here mate, theres always people looking..good luck
