Please educate the schoolboy!!

I have been browsing the forum for a few days, and this 'abbreviation' FON pops up a lot, particularly in newbie posts.

Please enlighten me as to what FON is, as the only FON I know is my Uncles Thai wife!!

Now - Empty garage
