Avus RS4 on A10 Saturday 12th March

Post by Scotty » Sat Mar 12, 2005 5:50 pm

Was it someone on here? Interesting comparison. Shame I'm not chipped at the moment. I had to back off and couldn't get on the power early for the second roundabout due to my 6 months pregnant wife sitting beside me. I didn't think she's appreciate being thrown around!

So who was it? :sekret:

The RS4 dived out in front as I was coming around a roundabout and I saw him boot it and so went as well. Nothing in it and then a little traffic came up so we backed off. I couldn't throw the car around and boot it early coz of the Mrs so out of the second roundabout he had the advantage and got on the gas before me. I followed until the compressions etc in the road were bouncing "the bump" too much and hence I had to back off 30-40mph or so. The last I saw of him, he was baulked by some sort of MPV thing (looked like Scooby Doo's van!) as I turned off.

I'd love to run again after Wednesday (chip being reapplied) and without being two up. I'm also interested to see if he was stock or not.
