Wouldn't you be better off doing a single turbo conversion like MRC's one?

Hi

To what am I supposed to buy a mono turbo? I myself can construct that.

The R8 has the drive at the rear axle and with turbo that is not a vehicle, for the normal use.

As well as a tried and tested one? Seems a false economy but good on you if this is a pet project. I thought it was commercial?

For the road, assuming you mean lower power on the Rev range, what about a low pressure turbo? Less lag, add a bit more power but without having the feel of a full on turbo?

No, the mind of the driver was slower.

THIS.

Needed a wee, badly!

I do agree that the usability of power is different on road or track, but that picture shows a guy on a straight bit of road. He's not lost that powering out of a corner, he's lost that by planting the loud pedal like a dick, or been clipped by something causing a spin.

Show me a 2000bhp 2000nm car and give me the keys! I will happily drive it :) building up my confidence as I build up my feel. Chances are Id never get the pedal to the metal, but still be fun trying :)

Before and after the accident scene, is an elongated curve.
When accelerating, the small helpers in Audi, failed!

Hi

The R8 V8 engine will long not hold with turbocharger on German Motorways.
The valve gear and also the crank mechanism, is not for the higher load, laid out through turbochargers.

For the money what I output for a turbo conversion, I can buy also a V10 that then has also 650 PS for myself. :bigblink:
