Just had a call that mine has been shuffled up from build week 9 to build week 5 so looks like some capacity freeing up.

You may end up getting it earlier than you thought.

Cheers,

Phil

Update for me. Build week 51 (2014) confirmed. I was going to wait until March 1st 2015 for delivery, but it's already been a long wait so hopefully delivery at the end of January for me.

Let's call it an early birthday present to myself ;-)

Cheers

Snap. I have also been moved to Build Week 51 (from Week 5), which is actually next week.

I am working on the basis that, if the car is ready in Jan, I will take it immediately. And my birthday is mid-February, so it will be an early birthday present for me, too.

If it's not ready till Feb, I will wait till March 1.

Some good RS6 FL news, good grief!

I suspect that cars won't actually pitch up until end Jan at best, so I'm currently working on 1st March pick up.

Had the same news yesterday. Build week 51 2014 from build week 4 2015.

Not long to wait. By the looks of it there will be some good pics on here from everyone in the new year.

Mine has changed from build week 7 to build week 3. It's got something to do with the fact the build is tagged to a customer rather than audi stock. That's what I've been told anyway.

Well heard back and still no firm build week , just that it's due for April delivery . But we might have one big problem , as I currently work offshore as a Rov pilot the low oil price currently has my arse knitting buttons and I am not really sure if now is the time to be buying a 86k car , especially at the rate that some companies are pumping guys out

Hunter,

I work in the Oil and Gas sector, I realise projects are being shelved, but I would have thought an ROV pilot is quite specialised and almost always in demand? Fingers crossed for you.

Cheers for that lewy

Well I would have like to think so but my work has already told all the day rate staff on our boat that there is no work for them till next March at the earliest. I am lucky I am salaried staff but my heart goes out to my friends on the boat that have been affected.

We are doing life of field work for bp up in the northern Atlantic so fingers crossed that we are safe. I did however contact the dealer to keep them in the loop explaining the situation and to be honest they are being a bit funny , take the car or cancel and loose the deposit ! , and this is a garage I have bought a fair few audis from , to say I am not impressed with them is a understatement and expected more from them

I'd tell them to fcuk off & walk away for that comment alone. Unless you've agreed to a non refundable deposit or have ordered a car in sky blue pink then the dealer can't withhold your deposit. I've cancelled orders on Audi's & BMW's & have never once lost my holding deposit.

W8PMC: Are you serious in saying that you believe you should be able to order cars as you wish and then walk away with no penalty whenever you feel like it?

Deposits are non-refundable by definition, unless you have simply placed a holding deposit on an unspecified car and the option to back out without penalty has been agreed.

No you shouldn't be able to order cars and then just walk away. But as w8pmc said in this situation yes he should be able to seems like a great repeat customer to whichever dealership this is. After he's explained the situation to the dealership and they're still being funny well to me that's just not good at all pretty much crap service once again haven't tried to to listen to him or solve it. I'm sure you'll be fine buddy quite a specialist role there and do whatever suits you best, but don't let them be complete idiots to you.

Hunter looks like he is in a terrible position - and we have all read how the oil industry is imploding. My comment was directed at W8PMC, who clearly stated that he has cancelled multiple cars with various sealers and always expects his deposit back each time.
