I'd be up for this. Ran my S4 on Charlie's dyno last September and it held back at the top end. Found and fixed an air leak since then (faulty brake servo) so I'd be interested to see if it's made any difference.

Trying to convince my mate in an RS3 to join us too, watch this space

Just let us know about your mate and will add him on

Interested about your power loss, did your brakes feel heavy before the servo change or did it deteriorate over time so didn't notice?

The issue is described here: viewtopic.php?f=49&t=112247.

Brakes worked perfectly well before the new servo was fitted, albeit with a longer pedal when I swapped from Alcons to the RS5 Brembos. With the new servo you need what feels like half the travel you did before, they're a hell of a lot sharper. Any vacuum system leak is going to affect the mixture and last September it should've made 20-30bhp more than it did. A manual B8 S4 with the exact same tune made 40bhp more and ran straight after mine, albeit on Momentum rather than VPower, so we'll see what happens this time.

Interesting all that and good to see you got it all resolved and found your missing horses

I believe mine has a vacuum issue, but does not show an indicated faults

So my starting point will be the RR day,

Hope you guys get the numbers you're after, so how come rs4's lose so much power with a vacuum leak? Wouldn't it have to be a pretty bad leak to affect the top end?

My barge was losing power after 5500rpm, Doug thought it was due to the cam timing being off slightly but it wasn't dropping off last time it was there so I'm hoping it's the fuel filter which doesn't appear to have ever been changed. Need to do some full throttle runs and have a look at the fuel trims I guess.
Need to get Doug to re-time it next time something under the front needs doing.

Not really, if you lose vacuum through a leak or component failure, you lose the air box flap or intake flaps, then mixture and performance detoriates etc

Keep meaning to fit a vac gauge under the bonnet but keep looking for one the right one, either shows the lowest figure achieved or something that will connect via an iPhone (wifi)for reading in the cabin would be good
