Really, really want that. If I come across a large sum that'll be the first thing I buy! In sepang, with 'ramics.

I wander how that little 4L V8 is able to make so much more power than the old 4.2L. Very impressive.

Maybe some new downpipes?
Mix in a bigger cooler?
Some hybrid turbos?

Hmmmmm.... Santa Mihnea??

without downpipes is difficult to have 722hp.

Filters and map gives 722, no downpipes.

remap + air filtes : 670-680cv ...! to have 730cv is necessary to have downpipes.

stock : 577cv
remap + air filter 663cv
remap + air filter + exhaust : 680cv.

you can see my rs6 :

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xqwQxumplVY

all the tuner i know, can products 680cv with remap...is amazing to have 40cv better than another tuner just with remap + air filter.

for example mtm need DP and catalysit to have 722 : http://www.mtm-online.de/en/Audi/RS6-C7 ... =RS6C7412q

if you used 104 octane, you can have 722cv just with remap.

There's a reason MRC have won Audi tuner of the year every year since they started the business! ;)

Yeah see mate your probably right 670-680 is what you would get. But this is MRC and they're as everyone knows fantastic and know they're stuff hence why they've got 722. Don't worry it's no fake Dyno etc here bud most if not all the C6s have been there for tune along with the rest of the Audi's.

May be due to the 4.2 has seen so many variations and I wonder if it wasn't the best design for turbo charging. The new 4.0 was built from scratch to be turbocharged and it makes a difference. Also I wonder if the revised turbo location within the 'v' makes it more efficient.

Everything I've read on it says it's an amazing engine! Hugely efficient compared to the power ratings it can achieve! It appears that designing for efficiency really pays off for performance!

Not that difficult to get a headline figure from a dyno, we all know how it works:)

From personal experience i'd be shitting myself putting that level of torque through an Audi slush box, but call me a cynic who's had a couple go bang (albeit not C7's).

MRC are an awesome outfit & i bet that car's a total monster.

It's ZF 8 speed, found all over. Only the C5 that had a choco box.

Still a regular slush box & the C6 had a soft box too. Agree however that the new ZF is an improvement over the previous incarnations, but then it couldn't have been worse:)

How's the C6 had a soft box? Don't recall any failing.
