Used B7 Front & rear Discs

Post by Tomson » Wed Nov 12, 2014 1:39 pm

Hi All,

I have a set of front & rear B7 discs for sale.

Fronts Measure 32.7mm Thickness
Rears Measure 21.9mm Thickness

Part numbers 8E0615602 & 8E0615301

These came off a stock car that we decided to put new discs on, mechanics have made a bit of a mess of one of the securing holes - but could easily be tidied up. No wobble on car they came off, just looked to 'used' for a retail car.

£300.00 + delivery (quite heavy, so I would say £20)

Cheers,

Tom :blackrs4:

Hi Tom, hope you are well mate. What is the minimum thickness detail etched into hub? ( I think it's on the hub). Also does the securing bolt hole cause any issues at all?

Securing bolt hole should not be a problem, mainly there to line the holes up.

Hi Mate,

To be honest feeling a little rough after a couple of operations, but otherwise well thank you. :boohoo:

I'm not in at the moment, but the tinternet is suggesting new 34mm, minimum thickness 32mm.

No issues with the one securing hole, they have two and it's not properly messed up, just looks tatty.

I have cleaned them up and drilled the <beep> out of the holes.

They sold on eBay for £350, the bloke was in the Highlands, they took so long to get to him that he returned them, usual eBay nonsense, arrived back today.

Cheers,

Tom

He's too far from you Dave :bigblink: They are in Gloucester so actually MUCH closer to you than they are to me. Tom has a great set up at German Marques and it's in the same building as Powerstation dyno, AST suspension and some other outfits that do all sorts of rally prep, etc.

I was only thinking of them as a spare really, so if they suit your needs Dave, go for it.

Tom, sorry to hear you've had a few ops. I hope things get better through the recovery. :beerchug:

cheers, should be back up and at it towards the end of next week.

I have moved to Cheltenham as has Curt @ AST. I think it's called streamlining the business or some such nonsense, I thought I would have one last crack at the whip before I have to get a proper job. :beerchug:

Also just me now, as my business partner went back into construction. The problem is I seem to get a little carried away with my kind of stock when it's just me, although surely people must share my taste? In prep or coming in I have a 968 sport, SL500, B5 RS4 (in super fast Misano), Corrado G60, mk2 16v and a Noggy Blue S3. (Apologies Phil for the blatant advertising, I'll stop now!)

Anyway getting back on thread, if someone wants just the rears, let me know? I don't really want to split them, but have interest in the fronts.

Cheers,

Tom

Hi. I'd be interested in the rears as one of mine is quite corroded and never cleared up. How much for them with delivery?

Hi Rick,

In my case they were removed from a car that was being prepped for sale, the car was having wheels and callipers refurbed, and new pads front and back. I just decided to change the discs as well as it made it more attractive to a potential customer. I suppose other reasons might be a damaged car being broken?

I agree though in most cases discs are removed because they are at the end of their life span, so would only be of use for the bells - but not in every case.

I would say if I were to split them it would be £200 + P&P for the fronts, and £100.00 + P&P for the rears. I would suggest P&P to be £12 isn depending on where you are?

Cheers,

Tom

I'll take the rears then. I'm near Northampton if that helps with delivery. Would you like to pm details for payment and stuff.
Thanks Mark.
